It’s that time again. Time for a new printer. My current one prints unevenly when the toner runs low, but now it does that even when the toner is new. Not to mention since it’s a colour laser printer it’s always yelling at me that some colour is running low.
I’m sticking with laser but will probably go with black/monochrome instead of colour this time. I’m looking for good quality and high ppm. Affordability is paramount – broke writers and all that jazz ;p
Anyone have any suggestions?
What did you end up choosing?
The rest of the family demanded that colour printing was necessary so we ended up with an HP Officejet Pro 8620. I haven’t printed a novel manuscript on it yet, but I did print three 15+ page short stories out for my critique group and it spat them out in good quality pretty darn quickly. Does colour pictures quite nicely and scans well too. Not what I’d planned on getting, but I’m happy with what I got so far.
Hello, I would suggest buying mid-range printers like the Epson SureColor P600. Its good for the buck. You can checkout my articles on different printers and its uses. Thanks
i may suggest you Canon Pixma ix6820 because it’s print quality is very amazing and printed words won’t get blurry after printing you can check it’s all specs on reviews sites.

I guess anything will do as long as it offers clear quality prints since you are a writer and much possible easy to use and the cartridge are easy and available in the market.
We usually use printers in our homes and offices to print our important documents. but we don’t know how to use them properly. We may help you with how to use printers properly. You can visit our site to read complete article
My sister being a novel writer uses Epson Workforce Pro WF-4830 and she also suggested me to buy one, as I’m about to step into the same industry. I have not yet tried it by myself but found many writers recommending it to me. You should look out for the reviews of the printer and make the decision accordingly.
